I used to use maya a lot and had 2024, but was using max for most of my work. my computer hardware was out of date and after getting a new computer and trying to use maya, it just doesn't want to open. I can use max and other programs like mudbox fine, but maya just goes to load up and gives me a crash report, saying there was a software issue. I've tried to use 24 and 25, but neither work. My instructor tried helping me and I've looked at the help page, but nothing is working, or I can't get into maya to try them. The main thing I kept seeing was to reset the preferences, but I don't even have a folder for it.
