Hello everyone!
I wanted to start animating with Maya, but I am not sure if my mac is compatible. I would appreciate any guidance! I am looking to make basic animations with characters.
I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) with these specs:
Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Display: 15.4-inch (2880 x 1800)
macOS Sierra
Connection: Wifi and (if needed) ethernet
Will this be enough to run Maya as well as leave my laptop able to do other basic work functions as well as a decent amount of storage?
Thank you for your guidance!
Hi @Anonymous
This should work fine as most Macs come with enough hardware to match our minimum system requirements.
If you have doubts you can always check our certified hardware list and system requirements.
