Hi, seemingly out of nowhere I've been getting semi-regular crashes on save with multiple different files. I'll be working on a file, save and it just crashes which corrupts the file. I can't seem to replicate the issue or anticipate when it will happen, sometimes I can work a whole day and only start to crash later in the day.
It does create a file called something like 'filename.maa22792' (numbers are different) when it crashes but I can't seem to do anything with that.
I hadn't changed anything with maya or any related tools except potentially a regular GPU driver update around the time it started being an issue, but I've since cleanly reinstalled that (and tried reverting back to an old version)
I'm working on AAA realtime hair using a plugin called GScurvetools (which I've also cleanly re-installed) but nothing I'm doing is out of the ordinary for my day-to-day work so I just can't figure out why it is suddenly a problem.
Since then I've done:
- A clean reinstall of maya & autodesk products
- A clean reinstall of my GPU drivers
- Updated my bios from v1205 to v1805
- Turned off any onedrive automatic syncs
- Checked hardware is all connected inside PC properly
- Temperatures are fine
Any suggestions or help is appreciated!
