Maya 2022.3 Not Opening on Mac Laptop

Hello! I am having an issue where my Maya 2022.3 won't open on my Mac laptop. I tried doing a clean uninstall and reinstalling it, but it downloaded without a prefs folder. Now when I click on Maya to open, it loads for a few seconds and then closes down without giving me an error message. I have tried doing the clean uninstall a few times, restarting my laptop, and checking for updates but it is still having the same problem. Any ideas?
