Maya 2020 Scene screen frozen/not working

Hi!

So I've just recently downloaded the Autodesk Maya 2020 with educational licence. I've got everything all set up except my scene screen is not working. I can't add anything on it. Nothing. I've restarted my laptop, followed instructions from other Maya forums, did Troubleshoot and yet, nothing worked.

I'm hoping someone may giving me solutions that I've been looking for. My 3D online class will start next month of August, and I really need to fix this soon! I've also uploaded screenshots of what my scene screen looks like. All help is appreciated. Thanks!

please try the following steps:

1. Please close Maya and follow the steps from here to reset the Maya preferences: How to reset the Maya Preferences to Default.
2.  Install the Autodesk Security Tools for Maya (this is always recommended): Security Tools for Autodesk® Maya® 2020 - 2015.
3. Make sure that the driver of your graphic card is updated: Nvidia Driver Downloads.
4. In Maya, go to Windows > Settings/ Preferences... > Preferences to open the Preferences Window. Change the Viewport 2.0 Render Engine to OpenGL Legacy or try different settings:
