Macbook Pro Retina 15" Mid 2015
Purchased Maya 2019 via Indie for graduates.
Unfortunately, installed without first removing Maya student version that had expired.
Upon install, got an error "Installation failed on Exit."
Followed by another screen after hitting Continue that reads "Installation Failed" and "The software could not be installed."
Hit "Done."
Loaded Maya via icon under applications. Got this message:
Clicked on green error button entitled "Enter Product Information," got this screen (serial number autopopulated, I removed it for this post):
I do not have a serial number in an email as it suggests. I logged into my account on Autodesk's website. Under Maya 2019's download, there is "Sign In" text for activation. However, it is not a link as it is suggested it is when looking into the problem. I cannot find a serial number on the website. I have tried uninstalling Maya 2019 via following troubleshooting from the Autodesk site to no avail. Reinstalling still produces the same exact issue and I cannot find a serial number anywhere.
