Maya 2018 playbast don't have quicktime but 2014 have

Hi everybody,

I have a strange bug with a co-worker, with maya 2018 we can't make a playblast with quicktime, the only options are AVI and Images BUT with maya 2014 we can do it, so it's not a problem with codecs it seems .... we tried to re-install quicktime or quicktime alternative with no effects. Did someone have the same problem ?

Is you Maya 2018 on our most recent update which is update 4?

Also are you on Mac or Windows? There are some changes with Mac and quicktime so that may be related if you are on a Mac system.

Hi Sean, I'm on maya 2018.2 actually and on windows 10, I'll try maybe
to install the update 4 but my coworkers have the same update than me
and they don't have this problem on theirs computers, that's the real
weird thing

Ah ok if they are also on update 2 and not having the issue then it's most likely something with your specific Maya.

A quick test you can try is deleting your settings/preferences.
