Maya 2016 Hotkey Help; toggle selection mode

I have been using Maya for many years and up to version 2015 I was able to set a hotkey for the command:

SelectToggleModeNameCommand

This single hotkey would allow me to toggle between selection modes: Hierarchy > Object > Component. This was very handy and allows me to quickly edit my model on whatever level needed.

I upgraded to Maya 2016 and I cannot find this command or anything similar in the hotkey editor. I also tried copying my hotkey prefs from Maya 2015 to 2016, but this does not work.

I deleted my user prefs file for hotkeys and then relaunched Maya so that the default hotkey prefs were created. This reset the default F8 key to work for this toggle. I was then able to change F8 to the key I wanted, which is this key `
