Hi @Anonymous

 

It looks like you may have imported the image a different way then you're supposed to for image planes.

 

It looks like you're trying to use the front of a head as reference so to do this, navigate to the 'Front View' then go to View->Image Plane-> Import Image.

no help but i found that image selection through cursor is in maya 2016 not in 2013 versions i select image plane through cameras side - top front cameras

Hi @Anonymous

 

You can't rotate image planes, this is by design.

 

If you want the image on a plane you can rotate, you would need to create a plane and assign the image to it as a texture under the Material Attributes.
