The materialX viewer is a standalone tool available on github.

It appears that Lama shaders are not supported in Maya 2025. They display in the viewport with an "E" and rendering (with Arnold) crashes Maya. Can someone confirm?

Yes they arnt fully supported. They need special OSL closures. The Arnold team is working on it. Even Renderman XPU does not support lama.
