I'm having trouble using ID Node Probability Ramp to control sections of a MASH network. My goal is to have different sets of assets - say 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, etc - randomly distributed using the ID node but put into controlled sections with falloff objects containing those sections. I would prefer this remain as one MASH network, not blending between multiple networks.
I got this partially working in a test scene with actual numbers as the stand-in assets. Numbers 1-3 are working as expected with the Probability Ramp. But I can't get any other configurations of the ramp to distribute only 4-6, or 7-9. Documentation is limited on this function.
It seems like Probability Ramp can do this but it's not a very intuitive tool. Any tips are appreciated. I included a couple screen grabs and the test scene done in Maya 2024.2
