I am completely new to Maya and have just started working on some tutorials, where I have encountered problems with the shortcut keys. I am on a Mac, with a one button mouse and when the tutorial explains camera movements, it says to hold the ALT (I held the Option key down here - the Mac alternative to the PC ALT) key down and by pressing the left mouse key down (I press "the" mouse button down, as there is only one button on my apple mouse), the camera will then orbit around the objects. This worked for me, but the next step told me to first hold the ALT key down again and then press the middle mouse button to move the camera from side to side. The following command uses a combination of the ALT key and the right mouse button to bring the camera closer or farther from the objects. So ... what do I do alternatively to access the last two commands (requiring a middle and right mouse button) which I do not have? Please help ASAP, so I can move forward with the tutorials. Thanks.
