keyshot plugin

I downloaded Keyshot plugin for Maya. I have 2016 ext2. It shows the plugin is loaded in the window preferences, plugins. It shows Keyshot in the shelf but when I click on it no buttons show up.

If you click "Send scene to KeyShot", Nothing will show up. But in KeyShot, the scene already be loaded.

the question here, which i also have, is how to make the buttons on the keyshot shelf appear. right now there is nothing in the keyshot shelf in maya. no buttons for "Send scene to KeyShot" or anything.
