Have you seen my links above. This is the direction for the next years.

Here are two other good reads.

To Christoph.

Thank you for your response.

I know the USD that you tell me, because it's subject to research and customization.

And i'll also look at other links.

By the way, why doesn't Autodesk provide a product roadmap for Maya?

Subscribers may be wondering about Maya's future.
The roadmap can dispel it.

Therefore, I would like to see this thread to Autodesk.
If Maya users vote here, the developers may some on action.

And if the interface called Maya changes, there may be some business negatives.

Best regards.
Hiroaki

Autodesk is a public company therfore its not easy to talk open about the future.

They did a roadmap testrun for MAX. Maybe something is coming in the future for maya.

Plus there is a lot of resarch going on that turn out other than expected. If you like to know more aply for the beta. Near every studio does have some beta members. So they know whats coming.

Here is an other hint.

Hello @Anonymous,

@Christoph_Schaedl is correct! There are many reasons that we do not support an official roadmap. New content and changes within the industry, public market shares, and a host of unpredictable elements make the process not something that is desirable for neither the company nor the userbase. I don't have much to add here as he has already given a comprehensive answer, but as you called for Autodesk attendance: here I am to confirm what's been said already! 😀

If there are features that you'd specifically like to see implemented, I would suggest Maya Ideas - Autodesk Community

This is the perfect place to vote for implementations and even suggest your own, powered by the pulse of the community, and consistently monitored by all of us!

3DSMAX has a public roadmap.

Maya might be discontinued soon. When a major feature like the graph editor is totally busted for months despite bugs being officially lodged, the writing is on the wall.
