Is there a way to visually control the depth of field of the camera, similar to the Limits in Blender's Viewport Display?

I've tried using Camera and Aim and Camera and Aim and Up, but I couldn't find it. (I thought Aim was going to be the controller.)

I had the idea of assigning a Locator to a Focus Distance, but I can't figure out how to know when I press the checker icon.

The slider from the Attribute Editor is difficult to navigate.

You can use any controller you want.  Just measure it's distance from the camera and connect the distance to "focusDistance".  Obviously, that controller should only move along the camera's Z-axis.
