Interactive xgen to hair cards

After linear wire is added the orange splines don’t follow the xgen hair they just go out to the sides in a linear fashion how do u fix that?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm currently having the exact same issue using the same video. I even tried adding a mask, but it makes no difference.

I had a lil go once more I think they were to thick but gave up so no
