Image Planes not showing in ortographic view

Hi,

recently I tried to set a reference image, but it doesn't show in ortographic view. When I set up a image plane in perspective view it shows correctly, but as soon as I switch to ortographic front view it just disappears. I still can see the border of the picture.

Image planes can be flakey if you're using the Legacy High Quality Viewport renderer. (I noticed in your front ortho view the viewcube is showing, which means you're definitely not in Viewport 2.0 mode. Try switching that view to Viewport 2.0 or Legacy Default. (See attached if you're not sure where to find that.)

Thank you for your answer. I've already fixed it, I'm not really sure how, but I did it. You mentioned the renderer, and I actually have a problem with that since I installed Maya, it doesn't allow me to switch to the Viewport 2.0, says it fails for some reason.

But that's a different thing that doesn't affect me yet, but I'd like to know what's going on and how to fix it.

Thank you again.

you have to make sure "textured" is highlighted in your orthographic panels
