Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

We don't officially support Metal Ray as of 2017 so that might be an issue and we also don't have access to Vray so I can't reproduce on my machine.

That said, what GPU are you using and do the drivers match up with our certified hardware list?

You can find our certified hardware list here!

Also, if you render a still frame instead of batch does that have any issues?

Hello, i have an issue with vray in maya 2018. I'm clicking batch render and after a small loading gives me the message of Rendering complete. It's for an urgent project. Can you please help me?

Hi @Anonymous

I don't have access to Vray so it can be hard to test.

First you should try unloading and reloading your Vray plugins to make sure nothings wrong there.

You'll also want to check your GPU driver and make sure it matches with our certified hardware list.

You can find our certified hardware list here!

Finally, if you try a different renderer does anything change?

Thank you very much for your fast response.

The problem after many tests is at all render engines. Even with Maya software etc cant batch render.

My 1080 is in the list.

Any help now since is not only the vray?

Hi @Anonymous

While the 1080 is on the list, you need to make sure that the driver version your GPU is using is version 398.82.

If it is not that version, please uninstall your current GPU driver and install version 398.82 which can be found here!

Hi @Anonymous

Hmm ok.

When you batch render, is there a result from it or does the render just say complete but nothing happened?

What happens if you make a basic scene with a cube and then render that?

Hello Sean, thank you very much for your replies and you willing to help. I was in rush of submitting works. I'm rendering at the moment with Render Sequence since i couldn't find any solution to my problem. I tried to an empty maya file with a cube and only maya software is working as renderer. VRay still has the same issue.

Hi @Anonymous

Since this seems to be specifically with Vray I'd recommend posting about this on the Chaos Group forums as they may have more insight into this.
