I can select anything when using the face tool

when i try to select using the face tool, the section thing just moves somewhere my mouse cursor isnt here is a video of the issue so you can understand better. Any idea how to fix it. soft select isnt on, and edges and vertices work just fine

Hi,

That is a graphics card driver issue.

The easiest way to fix it is to go into Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences > Display

and change the Viewport 2.0 Rendering Engine setting to "Direct X" and restart Maya.
