Hello @Anonymous,

you can try the following steps:

  1. Reset the Maya preferences (make sure Maya is closed): How to reset the Maya Preferences to Default.
  2. Try to disable the Maya toolclips. Here is an instruction how to enable it. To disable it, just turn the function off: How to enable ToolClips in Maya.

Looking forward to your reply, if it worked.

Best regards,

Patrick

Unfortunately, that did not do it either.

Hi @Anonymous,

What is your OS? There are some known issues with macOS catalina.

In either case, I would suggest an uninstall.

Perform a clean uninstall | Download & Install | Autodesk Knowledge Network

As a potential workaround, I expect you'll be able to open the Hypershade window while the viewport is paused. I hope this helps!
