Hi, as I'm sure you know, Maya crashes a lot..! Well my copy crashed big style so that when I re-opened it, it just locked up. The only way I could close it was ALT/CTRL/DEL. I tried the uninstall/fix thing but that did'nt work. In the end I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. It just locked up again. I've now gone as far as removing all the 'hidden' files in the 'user data' and have even gone to the registry file and deleted all reference to Autodesk there. I've reinstalled it and guess what..? It's locked up again. There must be something I have missed because when I open it, it goes straight to my old layout (I use two screens and then I can detach some editor windows) Does antone know how to completely and totally unistall or restart it... I'm going bonkers!
