How to convert a .mb to .igs file

Hi,

I have MAYA 2017 on my MAC and I need to convert a .mb file to a igs file. Does anybody knows the workaround to do this?

You wouldn't want to convert the Maya Binary file into an IGES file, not that you can, anyways. You need to open up the scene in Maya and then export the scene as the desired file type. If I'm not mistaken, IGES requires Direct Connect, which was changed in 2016.5 and 2017, so I'm not quite sure how this would work.
