How to add MASH network to a Render Layer Collection

A MASH network with geo type set to instances is not selectable in the outliner.

Because it is not selectable I cannot add it to a collection in a render layer.

The workaround is to export the MASH network as a proxy (using Redshift) then bring that back into my scene to add it a render layer.

Is there a better way to do this?

Thanks!

Hey, had the same problem.....

For me it worked to bake the MASH Instancer to Objects. Under: MASH>Utilities>Bake Instancer to Object.

Hope this will help some people. (:

Try to add the instanced object and the mash_instancer in your collection.

Kind regards.
