Hello,

 

to grow selection, it is said: shift period.

Period is point?

But seems not working.

 

some help, please. 🙂

Hi,

 

Yeah just hit "SHIFT + >"

 

If you want you can also go to the Select menu and then click it from the menu with Grow Selection.

Hello Keith,

 

this is what I tried. Both ways: keyboard and menu, did not work. 

Going to restart Maya.

If you go to documents/Maya/2016 you can rename prefs to OLDprefs and then start Maya again. It will reset all the preferences.

Well it didnt work at me either. Iam from CZECH Rep. and the problem was in keyboard language which we use a different keys, the other shortcuts work, so I would be glad if this would as well without switching CZE/ENG keyboard

Hi @Fovvl,

 

the easiest way to map the shortcut independent from your keyboard and language settings would be to go to:

 

Windows > Settings/ Preferences... > Hotkey Editor

 

At Edit Hotkeys For, chose Menu Items and open the Select commands list:

Here you can see the actual key that is mapped corresponding to your keyboard and language settings.
