Grid Won't Display

I tried to alter the grid display settings in Maya 2015, but I saw that it disappeared. So I set it back to the default settings and it's still not displaying.

Right above the viewport, click on "Show."  Down in the bottom section of the menu, see if "Grid" is checked.  If it is not, click on it. If it is checked, but is grayed out, click on Window->Settings/Preferences->Preferences and highlight "Display." In the "View" section of that window, make sure Grid Plane is set to "Show."

Hey, Does anyone know how I can fix this? ... My Grid option is grayed out and if I click it nothing happens.

check grid option in menubar/Dysplay

if it is unchecked the option for grid in view list menu for the viewport panel will gray out

Hello @dmsblast2006,

You can also click the option box to tune the settings of the grid. If, for example, the grid was set too small, or has been set to different parameters.

If the Grid is toggled on and your settings seem fine, you can always reset your preferences.
