Graph editor problem Maya 2017

All the animation curves disappeared from Graph Editor.
When you open Graph editor for the first time in the scene the curves are there. But when you click on other object to see it animation all the curves disappears forever until you reload the scene.

I don´t know if anyone are having the same problem but for me turns to make this release useless...

Hello rigelromeu

It happens to me the same, but my partner who has a more powerful computer does not have this problem.

I have "solved" by returning to classic Graph Editor, this is in Windows/SettingsPreferences/Preferences/Animation/Graph Editor/Classic
You have to close and reopen Maya.

I had the same problem and this worked for me.

But I don't think its because of the PC power since mine is quite new and packs a punch (overclocked i7 and GTX 1080).

I hope Autodesk fixes this kind of annoyances .

That same my day!

Thank you very much!

😄

Mine is OSX on iMac 2011. I believe the problem was in video board open gl incompatibility.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback on Maya 2017.

Have you tried temporarily renaming your prefs folder ?

Could you please send us your system specs ?

I solve the problem returning to classic graph editor.
That one work perfectly.
I imagine that, because my machine is a bit wold, that could be an video board issue.
That you any way by your attention.

Cheers!

Hi Climber_FX,

Thanks for the reply.

The modern graph editor requires OpenGL version 3.3 or higher, so it might not be compatible with older graphics cards.

You can find the list of recommended graphics cards here.
