Hi guys,
I wanted to know what would be basic workflow for building a game in Unity using Maya for modeling, animation, etc. and Unity for game development.
I want to go back/forth between Maya & Unity while developing the game.
Of course I can build everything in Maya, then export all models & animations in one shot to Unity, but that's not a realistic scenario.
Usually I would want to just create a baseline model in Maya then start building the game in Unity,
Then as the model needs to be refined I could come back and enhance the model/animation in Maya.
How can I achieve this between Maya and Unity?
Can Unity use the Maya model while it is still being modified in Maya?
