FBX export messes up lightmapping

I'm having an issue with FBX exports of my models. When I export, the UV's seem to produce weird artifacting I can only assume is related to the UVs being distorted upon export. Pictures provided below.

 

Picture 1 has snapshot of automatically generated UV's for the object on right in picture 2 (initial custom UVs were used for the object on the left in picture 2)

Picture 2 is how the lightbaking results turn out.

Picture 3 is the lightmap for the provided UVs. Actual fbx file included.

-I am running Maya 2016 student version Extension 2

-This happens with both Unity and Unreal Engine's light baking, so it's definitely an export issue.

-Does not happen with obj files.

-Only one UV set on object

-Removed Maya Bonus Tools, which was the only new plugin

-History deleted, transforms frozen

 

Any help would be really appreciated!
