Fatal Error when I use paint skin weights tool

Error occurred and cannot apply paint skin weights tool.

Operation steps:

1. Select the mesh.

2. Click Paint Skin Weights Tool.

3. Use brush, then change to Q mode or save the file

4. Error occurred, the error message is:

Fatal Error. Attempting to save in /var/folders/m2/q8fm39554dn9x8r4rdf018qc0000gn/T/jisu.20190930.0729.ma

I'm attaching the laptop specifications just in case.

Hi!

Switch Evaluation Mode from "Parallel" to "DG" (in Preferences)

or install Maya 2019.2 .

Didn't work for me. I've had the same issue over 3 different versions of Maya (2018, 2019, 2020)
