Extrude along curve problems

Hello, I am trying to extrude along a curve in order to make a chair leg, but when I try to put more than 3 divisions, it stops working and just looks as though it's anther curve. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Hi!

The curve is the problem, it has multiple Overlapping Control Vertices.

Use Curves -> Rebuild

or correct this manual.
