Editing breaks wireframe display.

Hi,

I have a persistent issue which really bothers me.

Goal is to have High Quality Display (preview of subdivided mesh) without any wireframe, with smooth shaded faces on an object whether it is being selected or not.

What you see in the recording is a box with High Quality Preview applied.

Toggling wireframe and wireframe on selection.

And finally how duplicating a face breaks the display, so from now on it is impossible to switch off the underlying low poly wireframe. Unless object is being deselected or Maya restarted.

In Low Quality View, I have a full control over wireframe display.

High Quality preview breaks when geometry is being modified in some ways. Vertices translation doesn't break it, but duplicating faces or Mayas camera based selection, to name a few, is.

I keep observing the issue and keep restarting Maya, but don't have solid ideas what can cause it.

I use the commands below, but they don't work on selected mesh with High Quality Display after the issue appears.

displayPref -wsa "none";

displayPref -wsa "full";

Kind regards,

Artur
