Distorted UV Seams in substance

Hello, I'm having a problem regarding my model in Substance Painter.

I made a model in Maya and UV'd it. The Checker map seems to be ok around the seams but when I export the model as FBX for texturing in substance, the seams become distorted.

Here is my model in Maya and when it is in Substance:

Also here are my settings in my FBX export.

It looks like there is some smoothing going on in substance.

Could you upload the geo here as .zip?

Does look fine here.

Try to reexport without smooth preview turned on.

I would do the UVs more like this to get a better pixel density.

ooh, I see,  exporting without a smooth preview does work.

Also enabling soft edges can help lessen the sharp edges when baked.

Thank you! Christoph Schaedl
