Deleted to reinstall but broke my files help

So I tried to delete all program files for maya via the actual files in my ssd and hdd, then to the 'add-remove apps' so I got rid of it, but when I tried to reinstall it came up with the dialogue box with the add ons like arnold etc but it said they were already installed which they shouldn't be because im pretty sure i delete everything, i click finish and go check the locations on where the files would go and they weren't there I searched for 'maya' and it came up with files but none of them actually worked it was like they were empty ghost files, I have not touched the registry I really don't want to mess things up more, but to put it simply, i cannot reinstall maya because it thinks it is already installed so I am stuck with it saying 'yes its there' when its actually not.

I made a case with the help team and im waiting for their reply but i wanted to know if anyone here would have a solution or idea

I don't really understand why you deleted files instead of running the installer to remove the programs.

But since you took that approach, did you also delete the registry entries?

Hi,

I did go to the registry and delete from there, I went with this approach because I had done the same method with the Adobe suite and it had worked fine everything re-installed normally so I thought it would be the same deal with Maya. But even after going through the registry and trying to install Maya again it still didn't come up with the application for if and did not start the program when I have clicked 'start' on the window that appears once the installation is complete and nothing happened the file for the Maya 2020 application for some reason won't come back no matter how many times is try re-installing.
The screenshots are the files that I could find from my most recent attempt the first 2 are on my HDD card and the last 2 are on my SSD none of them have the Maya app in them (I have checked multiple time) For some reason the Autodesk app thinks it is installed so maybe that's why all my attempts have failed thus far because apparently it's installed but clearly it is not. I am at a loss now, I have no real idea how to fix this at all nor do my peers in my course who use Maya and are familiar with its quirks.
I will be so incredibly grateful to anyone who may know how to resolve this and I take full responsibility for this trainwreck I have made.

Sincerely

Emerald
