Color in Color Picker and Render View does not match Viewport

Hi everyone!

I'm painting textures using the 3D Paint tool and the color I choose does not match what is in the viewport. When I open it in Render View, it looks like the color it should. I also ran into this same problem when using the Hypershade window and creating new materials. How do I fix this? I am on Autodesk Maya 2018.

Hi!

This is very likely a problem related to Color Management.

Make sure to enable or disable Color Management for both, Viewport and Maya Render View.

Also set Color Space for image files to RAW.

The only way to keep everything consistent when using Maya Software Renderer is to disable Color Management in Preferences.
