Hi @Anonymous

 

Thank you for your reply. Could you elaborate a bit more on what you are trying to achieve?

 

If you are working with two separate objects, and are looking to combine them with a single vert, here is the process to do so:

 

  1. Select both objects
  2. Combine the two objects together by navigating to Mesh > Combine
  3. Maya will now see both objects as one single mesh
  4. Select the vertices you want to combine
  5. Navigate to Edit Mesh > Merge to combine these verts

If this is not what you are trying to achieve, can you please post the scene file? 🙂
