Hi to everyone!
I'm currently using Maya 2019. Since Maya 2018, there is a long-awaited feature called "Stack Similar" (or "Stack Similar Shells" if you're in the Modify tab).
But it keeps stacking on one particular shell, even though I'd like to stack on the other one. I had the impression that this depends on the selection order, but sometimes Maya just doesn't care. If I want to stack shell A on shell B, it stacks shell B on shell A, no matter in which order I selected them.
I also attached a test fbx where it's just impossible for me to stack the small shells on the big shell. It always happens the other way around.
This is a big problem for me, since I work in the interactive department, and can't layout duplicate shells. (I layout the original ones in correct 3d size, so I need to automatically adapt the duplicates' sizes.)
Am I overseeing something? I didn't find an option or something. Or do I have to go back to the plugin solution?
Thanks in advance!
