Can maya export particle simulation to USD ?

Can maya export particle simulation to USD ? 

The workaround i did is meshing bifrost into geometry > export as bif > import bif again > export as USD . Is there a better workaround to export as USD ?

What exactly are you trying to export? There is a way to get VDB to USD.

Best is to ask on the Bifrost Discord. There is a USD section.
