I have a few questions regarding baked groom setups.
After I add the "Groom Bake" modifier to the description, preview is calculated from the generated .xpd file. I don't even need to switch "Generate Primitives" to "From XPD File". Is it right? Are there any differences if I leave this one on "Randomly across the surfaces" or switch it to "From XPD File" if there's a "Groom Bake" modifier on the top of the modifier list?
Can I use Guide Animation from .abc with baked groom?
I've read that "Anim Wires" modifier can work with bake. I tried to attach curves that were made for guide anim but it resulted in strongly distorted hair curves. What is the difference between an "Anim Wires" .abc file and a "Guide Animation" .abc file?
