automating maya actions without code?

Hi

I was wondering if its possible to automate a string of actions in maya without the use of code? I was thinking something similar to photoshop actions?

It is not as simple as it is in photoshop but you could do something similar by recording the commands in the script editor

Something like Replay for MODO would probably be the best thing for non-technical Maya users looking to build their own macros/scripts. If the Maya feedback site was working I would post it there.

I could see this as an awesome tool in maya.     Something you can use quickly for smaller repetitive tasks.   big speed boost in workflow for sure.
