Attribute Editor Tab Missing

When I try to change the color of a shape or object, the Attribute Editor pops up as a separate window rather than to the side of the menu. Any ideas on how to reattach it to the original menu position? (this is for Maya 2020)

the little tab at the right side where, attribute it says attribute editor is gone. I can’t find the button pls how do I rectify this
