Animation options gone from export selection for FBX

I'm trying to export animations by using the export selection which has worked before, but for a while now the animation options are gone. I can't access the "animation" checkbox, and the same goes for "bake animation".

I've tried deleting the prefs folder to revert back to standard settings, I've tried creating a new preset for fbx exports with animation checked but upon opening export selection next time the animation options are still missing, I've tried resetting the settings through the export selection window, and I've tried deselecting and reselecting the fbx plugin.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks so much in advance.
