Alpha maps having a whitish border

Hello People!

I have been struggling with a render recently. I have Ivy's in my scene for which I am using alpha cards and opacity maps but for some reason there is a white border around the edges.

I am using Vray as my rendering software.

It's driving me nuts!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

open the image in Photoshop and crop a little more, it seems you have a white edge on the image itself... If not upload scene and texture .

Hi!

Looks like a problem of Alpha + UV map.

For further help please add more details (screenshot UV + texture).

Hello!

Thank you for your replies!

But i seem to have figured it out.

When I saved my png's out there was no bg at all so I added a black bg on each of the png's and now it is working completely fine!

Thank you 🙂

That's fine but Vray can read the layered png just fine, you don't need to have an alpha channel.
In any case good luck.
