I have Maya 2017, 2018 and now 2019. Now that I've installed 2019, all versions of Maya freeze when I try to open a window (hypershade) on my second display. So I open Maya on primary, then I open Hypershade on primary and works fine. I move Hypershade to display 2, and it works fine. When I close it on the second display and then re-open it on that display, it freezes Maya entirely. This is the case for ALL versions of Maya. It was working fine a week ago, and the only thing different is the addition of Maya 2019. I have tried deleting prefs, rolling back drivers, plugging into different ports on my video card, nothing helps. Windows 10 Education 64 bit. Quadro M6000 card. Tried 375.86 (latest certified driver), 377.83, and 412.16 (latest available). They all freeze. I can open and close on the primary display fine, so I can work on the secondary, but I have to move it to the primary before I close the window so it won't try to reopen on the secondary.
This is the most bizarre thing. I also tried changing to Legacy OpenGL in Maya display preferences. Nothing works. This is killing me. Please help!!
