2018- Xgen, Rebuild curve issue

We have had this issue several times and can't seem to find the answer. When selecting a guide, then hitting rebuild to raise the cv amount, sometimes the tool errors.

The Tip CV ends up snapping to the origin, the guide gets hidden, and a temp curve is created in the same shape. This has been super frustration and I'm curious if anyone else has come across this?

Hi @Anonymous  and welcome to the community!

Can you try unloading and reloading all of the Xgen plugins and see if this still happens?

Also, is your Maya 2018 up to date?

Yea we figured it out. What was happening was when we created a second collection, the xgen guide  names were starting again at 0 and then there was duplicate naming of guides in scene. That seemed to freak out xgen when trying to rebuild.

The fix was to rename all the guides in the second collection so they were unique and we did not any more issues.

Thanks!
