2018.5 camera issues

It seems after working a while in Maya 2018.5, I'll "f" and the camera goes into the Twilight Zone. In its channel box, I see "NaN" for the position values. I'll reset to 0,0,0 to no avail.

This is very frustrating. I need to keep recreating new cameras. I think deleting prefs helps, but that's ridiculous to have to keep doing.

Thanks.

Can't help with 2018 (too old to remember its peculiarities), but pressing home should at least reset the camera.

Never reached NaN zone, however the camera can act like this when you use various camera tools, like zoom vs. dolly.

For every view there is a View>Bookmark section where you can reset your cam to the default / predefined settings.

@zewt mentioned Home key, however in M2019@Win it is Alt+Home.
