XGen Animation workflow best for rendering

I have an XGen groom made for my character animation. It's just a simple groom, no dynamics. What is the best workflow to render the animation in Arnold that is the fastest and most stable?

 

Is it to just leave it as it is on the rig, create an alembic cache, or export the entire hair to USD or another way?
