Hi!
I'm trying to simulate variety of chocolates falling on the floor and collide with the shapes of chocolate as they are falling and the ones already on the floor.
I tried using nparticles and once satisfied with the behavior of the particles, i used Instancer to add the custom geometry (right now just trying with basic shapes like cube, sphere, cone, etc). But then found out that the instances do not collide with the shape of geometry but with the particle shape which is a sphere.
I thought of using bullet to have a realism when chocolates fall but creating the number chocolates for typically a raining chocolate scene, it would go crazy with the amount of polygons in the scene.
Or may be I can achieve it with MASH but no idea how to.
Basically the effect I'm looking for is - starting from chocolates falling one by one and then gradually increasing the number (raining chocolates 🙂 ).
Please suggest as to how I can achieve this. I'm using Maya 2017.
Thank you in advance!
