Cant paint soft body weights

Regardless of what I try maya is not letting me paint soft body weights.

Hi dude . i did the same process as you, and works fine. Im using maya 2017 update 2.

Really dont know what´s the problem, are you in viewport 2.0 ?

Hi!

With an Opacity value of 0 it will not paint or generate (Flood) anything.

Set Brush -> Opacity to a value higher than 0.
