Bullet Physics - Alembic Cache

I have created a simulation in bullet which I have then tried to cache as a HDF5 file, I selected the rigid sets and use the option to cache selection to alembic.

I receive the warning message:   warning: Ignoring unsupported flag:     which then points to the save location.

No file is saved.

I select to save the file in the original directory I created at the beginning of the project, though I am guessing it has something to do with how I set the project?

Please Help

Did you ever figure out what the issue is? I'm having exactly the same problem. I've followed the autodesk tutorials to the letter and still nothing. Just the same warning and no saved files.

Have you set the project and then created project files using project > Window ?

Once this is set properly you can select the geometry to export under the bullet menu > Export selection to alembic

and then

Import using cache > Alembic > Import Alembic

Let me know if this helps...

Hi Oli,

Yes, that was the problem. It fixed itself once I created a project directory and imported by the scenes into the scene folder inside the new project. I'm not in the habit of creating project folders but I will from now on. Thank you!

Same here.  It worked under 2019.2.  I just upgraded to 2020.2 and now I get this:

"// Warning: |bulletSolver1|bulletRigidSet_LogoSolvedState is an unsupported type of kPluginShape // "  Any ideas how to make "bulletSolver1" a supported plugin for Alembic export.
