rigid body and gravity problems

Hi, I am trying to create an old fashioned bingo wheel with bingo balls rolling inside, I wanted the balls for move freely so tried to use active and passive rigid bodies and gravity but the balls fall through the wheel when the wheel has a passive rigid body. Is there anyway round this, or an alternative was of doing this?

If the file is to big for the  forum or you don't want to share it publicly, seend me a private message and I will create a private shared folder for you.

Hi!

Sure here it is- I have since removed the rigid bodies as it keeps causing Maya to crash...

To get around this I ended up using nCloth and passive colliders rather than rigid bodies.

Hi @Anonymous!

I believe that the cause of the issue is not the use of rigid bodies, because the scene you sent me worked perfectly on my computer, without adding or removing anything.

I would rather suppose that some corrupted preferences on your machine trigger a crash when rigid bodies are used.
